The Indian army has captured a Chinese vehicle and its driver at the LAC.

The Indian army has rejected the authenticity of the video on the Indo-China border standoff circulating online with different captions.

The Indian army has rejected the authenticity of the video on the Indo-China border standoff circulating online with different captions. An undated video showing Indian troops blocking a Chinese military vehicle first appeared online on May 31, 2020. This video was shared on social media platforms with various captions, including one that claimed that Indian troops captured a Chinese vehicle and the driver in the Pangong Tso region in Eastern Ladakh.

The Indian Army responded to the video and affirmed that the video was not authentic. The army also clarified that there have been no incidents of violence between the two militaries (at the time of issuing the statement) and that multiple high-level talks were ongoing to settle the dispute peacefully.

The same video started circulating again after the June 15 incident at the Galwan valley, where 20 Indian soldiers and several Chinese soldiers were killed in the scuffle. It can thus be concluded that the alleged undated video is not related to the recent developments along the Indo-China border following the incident at Galwan Valley.
