Conservative Judge Amy Coney Barrett has liberal supporters

There is no evidence that Judge Amy Coney Barrett has a mass liberal support.

There is no evidence that Judge Amy Coney Barrett has a mass liberal support. During the first Presidential debate, moderator Chris Wallace asked both candidates whether it was right that President Donald Trump nominated, and the Republican Senate would confirm, Judge Barrett, to fill the Supreme Court vacancy created by the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Trump argued that he had the constitutional power and obligation to nominate a justice and said that she had many liberal supporters.

One noted liberal voice supporting Barrett was Harvard Law School professor Noah Feldman, who wrote an op-ed in Bloomberg vouching for Barrett. Another liberal supporter, cited by Trump, is Notre Dame Law School professor O. Carter Snead, who wrote in an op-ed in the Washington Post stating that liberals should not fear Barrett.

However, there is no evidence that Barrett has 'many' liberal supporters, as Trump claimed. The support of two liberal professors does not mean that Barrett has mass liberal support. Therefore, we mark this claim as misleading.
