Kamala Harris received $81,000, in donations from planned parenthood clinics that sold baby body parts.

An investigation found no evidence Planned Parenthood sold baby body parts. The amount Harris received from the group in donations is unverifiable.

An investigation found no evidence Planned Parenthood sold baby body parts. The amount Harris received from the group in donations is unverifiable.David Daleiden, president of the Center for Medical Progress, filed a lawsuit on May 13, 2020, against Kamala Harris, Democratic Vice Presidential nominee, and other prominent California politicians for prosecuting him for "exposing" Planned Parenthood was selling tissue from aborted fetuses for research . The lawsuit accused Kamala Harris, state Attorney General Xavier Becerra, Planned Parenthood, and others of conspiracy to violate First and Fourteenth Amendment civil rights.

In July 2015, an organization called The Center for Medical Progress posted undercover videos, shot in Texas, as evidence of proof that Planned Parenthood was illegally trafficking aborted fetal tissue. The video never alluded to Planned Parenthood selling baby body parts.

During the US Presidential race 2020, a meme circulated on social media claiming that Harris favored the abortion agency against the journalist. In 2015, Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick asked the district attorney in Harris County, Texas, to open a criminal investigation into Planned Parenthood. A grand jury took no action against Planned Parenthood but found sufficient evidence to indict Daleiden and Merritt on felony charges of tampering with government records over their use of fake identification. The charges were later dropped.

In late 2019, a federal jury in San Francisco ruled in favor of Planned Parenthood in a civil lawsuit filed by the organization, rejecting arguments the two undercover agents were simply acting as investigative journalists and ordering Daleiden, the Center for Medical Progress, and others, to pay Planned Parenthood $2.3 million in damages for violating federal and state laws by trespassing on private property and secretly recording video of others without their consent.

Even though the then-Attorney General Harris was involved with the initial investigation, she left that office to take her seat in the US Senate two months before charges were first brought against the pair by her successor, Xavier Becerra.

Planned Parenthood and other pro-choice groups have contributed funds to Kamala Harris’ political campaigns, of whom she has been a vocal supporter. Daleiden claims Harris raised over $81,000 from Planned Parenthood and other abortion promoters. The organization donated over $8,000 to Harris' senatorial bid, whether more was given by individual members of the group is unverifiable.

But, there is no official declaration made about the donations from Planned Parenthood.
