Furthermore, he added that this deal would not be considered by the government of Germany and that CureVac would develop a vaccine for all the countries.

Moreover, a press release by CureVac reveals that the company is in contact with the coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI) and many other organizations, and authorities worldwide but it refused the allegations about offers for the acquisition of the company or its technology by any specific entity. CureVac also tweeted that it has not received any offer from the U.S. government or its related entities and it rejects all the allegations made by the press.

While there is no official confirmation by either CureVac or the U.S. government regarding an exclusive deal on coronavirus vaccine, and there is no credible source other than guardian reported that German health minister did say that a takeover of the CureVac by the Trump administration was off the table.
