The Masked Rider story is still on air after 40 years. Toei's application for a new Kamen Rider under the name Kamen Rider Saber has been approved by the Japanese Intellectual Property Database. Toei filed for the trademark on May 29, 2020, with the Japanese Patent Office under trademark number 2020-66754.
