It also stated that migrants were detained for hours and were sent back by the authorities almost naked in extremely cold weather. Further said that the reporters spoke to 20 - 30 refugees who were mainly men, some women and children forced back by the Greek police. People had shown their scars to the reporters.

According to Al Jazeera, people and police asked migrants to take buses to warm places. But according to a Syrian boy said if they go by buses, they would hand them over to the Greek authorities who would take their belongings, beat them, and sent them back almost naked.
