They are trying to gain acceptance from the international community and have announced the creation of an inclusive government. Russia, China, and Pakistan have been actively engaging with the Taliban. Russia has planned to hold an international meet in Moscow scheduled for 20 October to seek help for Afghanistan in the wake of the humanitarian crisis that has unfolded after the takeover.
Russia's envoy to Afghanistan, Zamir Kabulov, confirmed sending an invite to the hardline group for negotiations. However, Moscow has not recognized the group which has been labeled as a terrorist organization in Russia.
