Twitter’s head of HR Jennifer Christie stated in a blog post that employees can continue to work from home permanently even after the lockdown ends.On May 12, 2020, Twitter's head of HR, Jennifer Christie announced in a blog post that employees who are in roles and situations that enable them to work remotely in a productive way can continue to do so permanently even after the lockdown restrictions have been lifted. However, the policy will not be applicable for employees whose job entails doing things in person, such as maintaining the offices or technology such as the servers.

Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey has also said it is unlikely Twitter would open its offices before September 2020 after which employees can come to the office should they choose to and the company will take extra precautions when workers return. All in-person company events stand cancelled for 2020 and business travel would also remain suspended till September.
