Over 500 women protesters continued with their sit-in against the CAA at Aligarh’s Shah Jamal Idgah ground. Despite the calls for 'Janta Curfew' in India by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to control the spread of the coronavirus, hundreds of people gathered in Aligarh and Moradabad to participated in anti-Citizenship Amendment Act(CAA) protests. Protestors want the government to respond to their demands, and pass a notification on CAA-NRC-NPR. Moreover, many local MPs and religious leaders appealed to postpone the agitation for 14 hours, but the protesters rejected the appeal in Moradabad and there was no effect on the people who are protesting against the CAA.
