Justice Sunil Shukre and Justice Anil Killor from Bombay high court had issued a notice towards the PM CARE Fund seeking directions for its audit.The Nagpur bench of the Bombay High Court had issued notices to the Union of India based on a Public Interest Litigation filed by Nagpur-based lawyer Arvind Waghmare on 2 June 2020. The PIL was filed by him in his capacity as a citizen of India and a donor to the fund. The petitioner has sought immediately making public the entire funds received domestically or from overseas.

The court has given two weeks to the respondents to reply.
