No credible source has reported such a story. The Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine is proven to be effective for children aged 12 years and above.Senator Ron Johnson hosted a panel discussion on November 2, 2021, where Mr. Ernest Borrado Ramirez said that his 16-year-old son, Ernest Ramirez Jr., died five days after receiving the Pfizer COVID-19 Vaccine. The discussion was held with doctors and medical experts who have treated COVID-19 vaccination injuries and are exploring the safety and efficacy of COVID-19 vaccines.

This claim is false because there is no reliable evidence that the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine caused the fatality. Apart from Ramirez's statement, there is no evidence to support the story's credibility. So far only fake news spreading websites have republished or quoted the panel discussion video.

According to Mayo Clinic, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine for persons aged 16 and up, following a thorough evaluation of the scientific facts.

In the August 23, 2021 revision, FDA clarified that the EUA would remain in force for the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine for the previously-authorized indications and uses after FDA approval of COMIRNATY (COVID19 Vaccine, mRNA) for the prevention of COVID-19 for individuals 16 years of age and older.

Furthermore, FDA's analysis of efficacy data from 36,523 people aged 12 and up who had no evidence of SARS-CoV-2 infection before seven days after dose 2 found that the vaccine was 95 percent effective (95 percent credible interval 90.3, 97.6) in preventing COVID-19 infection at least seven days after the second dose. However, there have been no official or credible reports of children dying due to the vaccine.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the FDA issued the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine emergency permission for children aged 5 to 15 and full approval for use in persons aged 16 and older.
