The Food and Drug Administration had lifted ban over IPCA lab as directed by Donald Trump but not all.

The Food and Drug Administration had lifted ban over IPCA lab as directed by Donald Trump but not all.In the news published by the White House, U.S. President Donald Trump on 19 March 2020 stated that he had directed the FDA to eliminate outdated rules and bureaucracy so that work could proceed rapidly and they had to remove every barrier.

Further to this, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) had allowed IPCA company to supply Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (APIs), to enable the supply of chloroquine to the U.S. This was stated in the press release issued by IPCA in its filing to BSE.

This was the only ban lifted by the FDA to date, and there was no blanket order to lift the ban as claimed.
