One Ayodhya priest and about sixteen policemen involved in Ram temple groundbreaking ceremony duty have tested positive for COVID-19.The priest and the policemen were on duty at the Ram temple site in Ayodhya for the temple's groundbreaking ceremony scheduled for August 5. Pradeep Das, the assistant to the chief priest, said he tested positive for COVID-19. Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust said that the policemen who tested positive were engaged in security duties at the Ram Janmabhoomi complex. The Trust has decided to sanitize the entire Ram Janmabhoomi campus before August 5.
