
Statement by Vice-Chairman Raghav Chadha of DJB and news coverage by proves that Yamuna river is cleaner but still has the polluted foam.
Raghav Chadha, the Vice-Chairman of the Delhi Jal Board (DJB), said that a survey of the Yamuna river water has found improvement in its quality. He also added that the factors that have helped for the improvement in the river are closures of industries in Delhi and its surrounding areas due to lockdown as the industrial discharge is not going to the river.
Live news covered by ABP news shows that the river Yamuna has come out cleaner after the COVID-19 lockdown but the contaminated froth still subsists on the river.
