National Testing Agency has rubbished the claims about the postponement of the NEET exam for the academic year of 2020.The medical entrance exam, called the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), is scheduled for July 26, 2020. Several people are demanding the cancelation of the NEET exam the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) canceled its board exams in the wake of COVID-19 pandemic.

A fake notice stating the postponement of the NEET examination dating June 15, 2020, started making rounds. Following this, the National Testing Agency (NTA) issued a public notice on June 17, 2020, informing all the candidates and parents that no such decisions have been taken. The NTA has further advised the public to be aware of fake communications concerning NEET examination and to rely on the information posted on their official website.
