The Aljazeera websites state that US translators are risking their lives in Afghanistan. In a video by Aljazeera (0.40 seconds to 1.30 minutes), it is seen from the personal experience expressed by Wahdat (Interpreter) who worked for the United States for 3 years, that Taliban militants thought that the interpreters are the eyes and ears for the military.
