Microwave can cause disruption to your wifi signal.

Articles published by Science ABC and Billentis confirm that microwave ovens could interfere with wifi signals.

Articles published by Science ABC and Billentis confirm that microwave ovens could interfere with wifi signals. When turned on, microwave ovens often let a small amount of microwave radiation to leak out of the container. This radiation leak can interfere with WiFi signals. This is because they both rely on electromagnetic waves to function. Microwave and some WiFi signals operate on the same frequency, i.e. 2.4 GHz. Therefore, when used at the same time, the waves interfere with each other.

Some other devices that can cause similar interference include electric blankets, electric bug zappers, toaster ovens, etc.
