The Federal Judge dismissed the lawsuits filed in Georgia, alleging absentee ballots without creases as baseless.Lin Wood, an attorney for the Trump campaign, had filed affidavits with a Federal Court in Georgia against Secretary of Georgia State Brad Raffensperger seeking to stop the certification of Georgia's election results. It was alleged that the votes were uniformly cast for Biden as there was no crease in the mail ballots, which meant those ballots were never sent by mail; the ballots were in pristine condition and had a different textured paper.
State Election officials have said that there is no basis for such allegations. The case was dismissed by U.S. District Judge who said that L. Lin Wood lacked standing to sue and that federal courts have limited jurisdiction in cases contesting election results. Moreover, it was a moot idea to decide on the case as Georgia had already certified the elections.
