Sea levels are rising due to global warming.

Information about sea levels published by NOAA and the Australian government's website publication validates the claim.

Information about sea levels published by NOAA and the Australian government's website publication validates the claim.Data published by the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) on 19 November 2019 states that Global warming can cause sea-levels to rise in two different ways; as the oceans warm due to an increasing global temperature, seawater expands and taking up more space in the ocean basin, and the melting of ice over land adds water to the ocean.

The City of Greater Geraldton's infographic about rising sea-levels shows that it can be caused by global warming in various ways such as thermal expansion and melting of ice. It also shows that sea-levels are 19 cm higher compared to the beginning of the 20th century.

Also, according to the UK Commonwealth Marine Economies Programme report from 2018, global warming is a major part of the rising sea-level can cause by a combination of the thermal expansion of the oceans and an increase in the melting of the continental glacier.
