The Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai roped in physicians to prevent COVID-19 spike in Bandra-Khar housing societies.

More than 700 private doctors from Bandra-Khar Medical Practitioner’s Association came to help the BMC to conduct COVID-19 testing in Bandra H-ward.Dr. Prathamesh Dholakia, a doctor from the Bandra-Khar Medical Association, said that around 750 private doctors have collaborated with Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation to conduct testing in Khar, Santacruz, and Bandra. Dr. Ramesh Lalchandani, secretary of the Bandra-Khar Medical Association, also said that doctors would guide the people on how to use medical kits and that those who entered and left the complex underwent the test.
