During an interview in Dec. 2015, Arnab Goswami told Salman Khan that he was his 'total fan.'When Arnab was working as an Editor-in-Chief at The Times Now, he had interviewed Salman, which was aired on Dec. 10, 2015. The interview was for his show- Frankly Speaking. In his opening statement, Goswami told Khan that he was a ‘total fan,’ and it was his pleasure interviewing Khan every time.

But, his stance took a U-turn when Arnab Goswami, now the Editor-in-Chief of Republic Media Network, recently lashed out at Bollywood actor Salman Khan, questioning his silence on the ongoing debate over late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case.

During a prime-time debate aired live on his channel on Sept. 17, Arnab could be seen deriding Salman Khan after bringing up Khan’s remark from 2016, that he said he felt ‘like a raped woman’ during the arduous shooting sessions for his movie Sultan.

In the video, which later went viral on social media, Arnab took jibes at Salman, screaming, ‘that Salman who thinks so highly of himself, why is he quiet on the drug mafia issue? Why are you silent on the Sushant Singh case? Where are you Salman, where are you hiding, which country are you in?’

Goswami was seeking a reply from Khan on the ‘Bolloywood drug mafia’ allegations, which were made by actress Kangana Ranaut.
