However, the company has not officially disclosed the number of persons who have been infected and an unnamed source familiar with the matter has quoted 42 cases to Reuters. The company said it had been observing social distancing norms and had made changes to canteen facilities as well. The factory had commenced operations in a restricted manner after India eased the lockdown. The company hopes to resume operations with skeletal strength, it stated.
