Mike Pence repeatedly interrupted Kamala Harris in the vice presidential debate of the 2020 race for the White House in Salt Lake City. The U.S. Vice President Mike Pence and Senator Kamala Harris met on the vice-presidential debate stage, separated by two plexiglass panes at Kingsbury Hall in Salt Lake City, Utah, on Oct. 7, 2020. The debate was pointed and featured several interruptions from Pence. Pence interrupted Harris more than she interrupted him. A CBS tally found the vice-president interrupted the California senator ten times while she interrupted him five times. Meanwhile, NBC news tracked nine interruptions by Harris and 16 interruptions by Pence.

During the debate, Harris, and Pence traded accusations over the federal response to the pandemic that has claimed the lives of more than 210,000 Americans. The candidates moved on to discussions about a potential vaccine, the economy, climate change, the Supreme Court, and more, with Pence advocating for the president's nominee to the high court and emphasizing his trade record. Harris responded to Pence interrupting her and said that Mr. Vice-President, "I'm speaking, If you don't mind letting me finish, then we can have a conversation".
