The Government of India plans to ban PUBG MOBILE in India.

Reports suggesting an alleged ban on 275 Chinese apps is making rounds in India, however we cannot verify whether PUBG is included in the list.

Reports suggesting an alleged ban on 275 Chinese apps is making rounds in India, however we cannot verify whether PUBG is included in the list. At the end of June 2020, the Indian government removed 59 mobile apps, which are prejudicial to India's sovereignty and integrity. At the end of July 2020, 47 more Chinese apps were banned in India, mostly clones, or lite variants of the ones earlier banned in June 2020.

Currently, the government has prepared a list of over 250 Chinese apps that are being strictly observed for criminal activities. There is not enough independent evidence to confirm whether the game PUBG MOBILE is among the list.
