Transcript of the President's speech on The Presidency Republic of Ghana website confirms the extension of closure of Ghana's border for 2 more weeks.The President of The Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo while addressing the nation on 5 April 2020 thanked all his frontline warriors and Ghanaians for their support during the lockdown period to fight against the coronavirus pandemic. The president also said that by the Executive Instrument he has extended the closure of the Ghana borders for 2 more weeks until further notice. This was intended to curb the escalation of the Coronavirus infection rate in the country.
