
Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant canceled the formal state dinner for President Ramnath Kovind during his visit due to the Covid-19 situation.
"The 10-minute documentary on Goa's history goes back to the Maurya era, Kadamba era, and Portuguese era as well," said chief minister Pramod Sawant, TOI reported. Around 400 invitees were allowed to be present in the event due to Covid-19 protocols.
On Dec. 17, it was announced that the traditional state dinner was dropped from the schedule of President Ramnath Kovind's visit to Goa in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic.
