India Metrological Department had issued a warning for Maharashtra on 2 and 3 June 2020, concerning cyclone Nisarga.The cyclone Nisarga had hit the coastline of Maharashtra with heavy rainfall on the night of 2 June 2020 and also, is expected to make the rainfall as the severe cyclonic storm was close to Alibagh which is 94 km away from the South of Mumbai on 3 June with a maximum sustained wind speed of 100-110 kilometer per hour up to 120 miles per hour.
