Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) website confirms that it will pay for two years on the job loss.According to the benefits mentioned on the ESIC website, it provides monthly cash allowance for a duration of a maximum of 24 months in case of involuntary loss of employment or permanent invalidity due to non-employment injury.

Employment Generation and Training website reveals that unemployment allowance will be given only when the annual family income of candidates must be less than Rs12,000.

However, the ESIC unemployment allowance applies to both private and government sector firms and the cash allowance is provided only to an insured person, in case of an employment injury or permanent disablement.
