The Lok Sabha Election Results 2019 by The Election Commission of India (ECI) confirms the statement.According to the ECI result website, from the Bhopal constituency, Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) candidate Pragya Singh Thakur won 8,66,482 votes by defeating a former chief minister of Madhya Pradesh and senior Congress leader, Digvijaya Singh who won 501660 votes with a Margin of 3,64,822.
