
Night Curfew has been imposed from Dec. 31, 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. on Jan. 1, 2021, in all the cities having more than one lakh population in Rajasthan.
All markets and commercial complexes would close by 7 p.m. so that the staff can reach their homes by 8 pm during the night curfew. However, the curfew would not applicable for factories working a night shift, IT companies, Chemist shops, Offices related to essential emergency services, any work related to Medical services, to and fro movement of passengers from the railway station, bus stand, or airports, all trucks, good carriers vehicles and people employed for loading and unloading goods.
Restriction on all gatherings for the new year has been implemented, and bursting of firecrackers is also banned. The government order also added that maintaining 6 feet of social distancing, wearing a mask, and proper sanitizing is mandatory in all worship places.
On Dec. 23, there were 1,736 active cases in Rajasthan. The total number of cases in the state had reached 3,01,708, including 2,642 deaths and 2,87,418 recoveries.
