Indian Railways has decided to cancel all its regular passenger trains including Mail, Express and Suburban train services till further notice.
Indian Railways has decided to cancel all its regular passenger trains including Mail, Express and Suburban train services till further notice.The Shramik Special trains and other Special Train services which were started from May 01 and May 12, 2020, respectively will continue to be operated. The Railway Ministry said that all the booked tickets for previous regular trains for the period up to June 30, 2020, would be cancelled with a full refund.
This decision was taken in the wake of the lockdown imposed due to Coronavirus.
In a fresh move, Indian Railways is going to start 200 new Time Tabled trains from June 1, 2020, but there is no word on when the regular service will be restarted.
