The Odisha government had relaxed shutdown and lockdown restriction and allowed the businesses to function normally. The state reported its highest one-day spike so far as 3,861 persons tested positive for Covid-19, increasing the number of the total infected persons to 1,27,892 on 7 September 2020. Odisha has done more than 21.43 lakh corona tests, of which 5.96% have tested positive.
