According to prime facia, it appears that while dropping the passenger, there might be some argument on the way, and the driver was attacked for the taxi fare.

An FIR was lodged in the Badarpur police station under IPC sections 302(murder) and 394(voluntarily causing hurt in committing robbery). He added that in the entire 40-minute long audio, after saying Jai Sri Ram, the people in the cab spoke for some time and sounded that they were having fun and laughing.
