Social media platforms and Google have been censoring Donald Trump's activities.

Social media sites have constantly monitored and flagged numerous posts by President Trump citing some of them to be in violation of electoral norms.

Social media sites have constantly monitored and flagged numerous posts by President Trump citing some of them to be in violation of electoral norms.Trump has been making several claims during the 2020 US election year using his social media accounts. During the election campaign, he had claimed that the results wouldn't be accurately determined because of expanding mail-in voting. Soon after the results were declared and Biden won, he continued to make multiple claims of voter fraud and voting irregularities. Trump and his team had filed many lawsuits in the courts, and all have been dismissed till now.

Social media sites like Twitter, Facebook, and Google have labeled his claims as inappropriate and flagged them as misleading.

Trump had prematurely claimed victory in the 2020 Presidential Elections even when the counting was on. Facebook added a notification at the top of Facebook and Instagram feeds, saying there was no winner yet. Similarly, Twitter had also placed restrictions on Trump and his campaign members by naming the same post as a potentially misleading claim.

Recently Google said that it would begin removing content promoting conspiracy theories by president Trump. Twitter went further and prevented users from liking and replying to a series of tweets by Trump in which he again claimed that the November elections were stolen from him.

The feud between Trump and social media companies has only escalated as Trump perceives it as biased political censorship by social media platforms.
