A customer at Betfair had placed a £500,000 bet on Joe Biden winning the 2020 election.The 2020 U.S. presidential election had become the single biggest betting event of all time. The U.K.based Betfair Exchange announced that a customer had staked £500,000 on President-elect Joe Biden to win the 2020 U.S. election at odds of 1.53. Betfair's spokesperson confirmed that it was the largest wager of the 2020 campaign.

Many had bet in favor of Trump winning the 2020 election though polls showed that he was trailing against Biden. However, we did not find any report that the incumbent President Trump had placed a bet on himself for 500 euros.
