In Fantasy Premier League, 15 points are added to one's final score for every chip that one doesn't use.

The Fantasy Premier League rules do not include details on what happens to unused chips after a season ends.Fantasy Premier League is a game where participants can become fantasy managers and build a virtual team of real-life football players. The score in the imaginary game depends on the players' actual performance in real-life matches. There are several chips at the disposal of the game participants. Unlike a Wildcard, the Free Hit chip allows managers to make unlimited free transfers for a single game week. While the participants can use the Wildcard chip twice a season, they can use the Free Hit chip once a season. Players can use the Bench Boost and Triple Captain chips to save one's team on the team page.

The wildcard chip available from the start of the season until December is useful when several players are injured or out of action. Additionally, participants can use the chip in the first or second half of the season.

While playing either the Wildcard or the Free Hit chip, any saved free transfers are lost. One can use one free transfer the following game week. There is no clear indication from Fantasy Premier League if points are added to one's final score at the end of the season.
