News by Xinhua Net and South China Morning Post supports that Long March 3B carrier rocket failed during the launch of Indonesian satellite.It was reported that the rocket worked in a normal condition during the first and second stages of the launch and abnormal condition occurred in the third stage and blasted off at 7:46 p.m. Beijing Time from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in southwest China's Sichuan Province. The mission was a failure according to the monitoring data and the investigation of the malfunction is going on.

Report by NASA Space Flight on 9 April 2020 stated that the Long March 3B was launched on 8 April 2020 11:48 UTC from the LC2 pad at the Xichang Satellite Launch Center China has failed during the launch. The rocket was carrying Palapa-N1 satellite also named as Nusantara Dua to provide broadband internet access and high-quality broadcasting services built for Indonesia in a joint venture with Indosat Ooredoo and Pasifik Satelit Nusantara.
