A video circulated on social media shows an incident of Sun Dog (Parahelio) optical phenomenon that was spotted in Sweden in December 2018.This Sun Dog Optical Phenomenon was captured in the Vasteras City of Sweden on December 1, 2018. It is also known as Mock Sun, which is a relatively common atmospheric optical phenomenon formally called a Parhelion. They are associated with sunlight reflection by the numerous small ice crystals making up the cirrus or cirrostratus clouds. Sun dogs typically appear as a pair of subtly colored patches of light around 22° to the left and right of the Sun, and at the same altitude above the horizon as the Sun. They are, however, not always distinct or bright to be visible to the human eye.
