The total wealth of all the billionaires almost equals one-fourth of the total U.S. GDP, which is about $20.93 trillion.
The net worth of billionaires increased as stock markets recovered and posted new highs. It also brings forth the rising inequality in society, which is at its highest level. The wealth of ordinary Americans have not fared well even though the economy is back on track.
