Two football players of Little Miami High School were suspended for carrying the 'Thin Blue Line' and 'Thin Red Line' flags onto the field.

Two football players of Little Miami High School were suspended for carrying the 'Thin Blue Line' and 'Thin Red Line' flags onto the field.Cornerback Brady Williams and linebacker Jared Bentley, who attended Little Miami High School, asked school officials for permission to carry the flags but were told no. Both seniors led their team onto the field while holding the flags before their game. Williams and Bentley, who are sons of a policeman and a fireman, were suspended from the team on September 14, 2020. They said that it was not political, and it was meant to honor firefighters and police officers of the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, who risked their own lives to save others.

The school reinstated both students the next day.
