The Academy of Country Music(ACM) Awards was aired live on September 16, 2020. Keith Urban hosted the event held in Nashville to an empty audience amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The biggest music night was opened by a socially distanced medley of this year's ACM entertainer of the year nominees performing their hits. Bryan started the show by singing his song 'Rain is a Good Thing.' followed by Eric Church singing 'Drink In My Hand,' Luke Combs picked to sing 'When It Rains It Pours.

After this, Bryan sang his most recent song, 'One Margarita.' He was wearing a button-down t-shirt with a tropical design. During his performance, the stage consisted of screens projecting a background of palm trees and lightly rolling waves behind him and his band.

Carrie Underwood, Eric Church, Luke Bryan, Luke Combs, Thomas Rhett, Maren Morris, and Justin Bieber were the other performers.
