There is no evidence to support the claim that Trump was wearing a TENS device during the first presidential debate of 2020.The first U.S. presidential debate between Donald Trump and Democratic Presidential nominee Joe Biden was held on Sept. 29, 2020, moderated by Fox News anchor Chris Wallace, co-hosted by Case Western Reserve University and Cleveland Clinic at the Health Education Campus (HEC) in Cleveland, Ohio.

The debate let to many conspiracy theories made around both the candidates. It was speculated that Trump was wearing a Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulator(TENS) device during the debate. Various photos captured during the debate and the videos did not feature Trump wearing any stimulator onto his body at any point in the debate. The news was also not published in any of the leading media outlets to further support the claim.
