BJP spokesperson, Suresh Nakhua promoted the video, that says journalists, "must be hanged to death."On February 11, YouTube removed a video posted on a channel named 'The String,' created by a 29-year-old man, Vinodh Kumar. The video violated YouTube's policy on harassment and bullying.

It alleged that Greta Thunberg's support for farmers' protest was a 'planned event.' According to ThePrint, Kumar said that several Indian media outlets, journalists, activists, and fact checkers were part of a "money trail" funded by U.S. billionaire George Soros. He added that journalists, activists, and fact checkers must be "hanged to death" for conspiring against India.

Suresh Nakhua retweeted the video, claiming that it is a “great revealing explosive story." His post was retweeted more than 1,450 times. One Twitter user added that the video was "hateful" and warranted legal action. Nakhua said that he would not take it down or apologize and that "praising video is my freedom of speech and prerogative and taking legal action is your right."
