4-year-old Australian boy claims to be reincarnation of Princess Diana

Australian TV host David Campbell said his son feels he is the reincarnation of Princess Diana. Reincarnation is a mythical concept.

Australian TV host David Campbell said his son feels he is the reincarnation of Princess Diana. Reincarnation is a mythical concept. In July 2019, David Campbell, an Australian singer, and TV host claimed that his 4-year-old son Billy Campbell believes that he is the reincarnated version of Lady Diana, Princess of Wales. In a column for Stellar Magazine, David said that his son Billy says he 'used to be the princess.' Billy first identified as Diana when he was two years old and had apparently pointed at a photograph of Diana and said: 'Then one day the sirens came and I wasn't a princess anymore.' David mentioned in the column that initially, he found Billy's remarks humorous until he allegedly started making eerily accurate comments about the late Princess. Princess Diana, who was married to Prince Charles, died aged 36 in a car accident in Paris on August 31, 1997.

Reincarnation is a philosophical belief that the non-physical essence of a living being starts a new life in a different physical form or body after biological death. It is a central tenet in major religions, including Jainism, Buddhism, Sikhism, and Hinduism. The scientific community has rejected the theory of reincarnation and there is no empirical evidence to suggest that reincarnation is a real phenomenon.
