Trump received the Nobel Prize nomination for the 4th time after a Finnish lawmaker proposed him for the Nobel Peace Prize 2021.Laura Huhtasaari, an MEP and a member of the Finns Party, wrote to the Nobel Committee to nominate Trump for the 2021 peace prize as she called for acknowledging the endeavors to end hostilities, build peace by encouraging conflicting parties for dialogue and negotiations, and for securing law and order at home. She cited the Abraham Accords -- peace deals between two Arab Gulf nations and Israel. She said that it was the first time any US president has served a full term without engaging his country in new conflicts.

A Norwegian Parliament member first nominated Trump for his role in the peace deal between Israel and the United Arab Emirates. Days later, a Swedish Parliament member nominated Trump for his role in a U.S.-brokered normalization deal between Serbia and Kosovo. In September, President Trump received his third 2020 Nobel Peace Prize nomination from Australian law professors. However, Trump is yet to take home the coveted prize.
