World Health Organisation stated that DR Congo's Ministry of Health detected a new outbreak of Ebola virus disease occurring in its Equateur province.The Ministry has confirmed that six Ebola cases have been discovered in the eastern region of Dr. Congo in the western city of Mbandaka. It is the 11th Ebola outbreak since the virus was first discovered in 1976. The new outbreak happened at a time when the disease was in its final phase.
