Joe Biden plans to order Americans to wear masks until April 29, 2021.

In an interview, Biden said he would ask the people to wear masks for just 100 days starting from Jan 20 to reduce the COVID-19 spread in America.

In an interview, Biden said he would ask the people to wear masks for just 100 days starting from Jan 20 to reduce the COVID-19 spread in America. On Dec. 4, 2020, Joe Biden had attended an interview with CNN's reporter, Jake Tapper. Tapper started with the conversation that will Biden roll out the vaccine before his inauguration. To which Biden said people have already lost faith in the vaccine, so only after all safety tests, precautions, and Dr. Anthony Fauci's advice he will take a step. Tapper continued by asking Biden, will he ask Fauci to continue with his administration. Biden said he had asked Fauci to be the chief medical adviser and part of his COVID-19 advisory team and tell the people that the vaccine is safe. Then Tapper exclaimed that has Biden asked what can be done in the future to control crisis and the present situation and what did the conversation happen. Biden said Fauci has made a point closing down the economy is not a solution as people are talking. With proper guidelines and precautions, workplaces can continue to function normally. He said he would pass a standing order to make masks compulsory everywhere in all federal institutions, traveling places, and other places. Adding to this, he remarked on making people wear the mask for 100 days.

Biden stated that - 'On the first day I’m inaugurated, I’m going to ask the public for 100 days to mask. Just 100 days to mask — not forever, just 100 days. And I think we will see a significant reduction in the virus'.

The inauguration ceremony of the U.S. President is to happen on Jan 20, 2021. So Biden wants all Americans to wear masks to reduce the virus infection and bring it under control.
