Assam police arrested 13 people along with 6 forest guard, while the charge sheet has been filed against Rojen boro- Grasscutter, Jayanta boro-Forest Guard, Nijwm Basumatary-Forester, Mallajit Kherkatary-service provider. All these men are state government Employees. As it is an ongoing case, figures mentioned in the charge sheet regarding the number of people that were arrested in relation to the violence vary from one report to another. Thus the number of arrests made and some of their past affiliations with militant outfits cannot be officially confirmed.
