Chinese wet markets have reopened after the coronavirus outbreak and they are still selling bats, dogs and cats.

One of the markets, located in the Southern Chinese city of Guilin sold cats and dogs meat in the name of tradition. The other correspondent photographed a medicine seller who was returning to his business with a billboard advertising the sale of bats along with scorpions and other animals in Dongguan.

The Fox News had also reported that the Chinese government has allowed some wet markets in the country to reopen. Further, added that the U.S. Senator, Lindsey Graham had sent a letter to the Chinese ambassador to the United States on urging against the reopening of wet markets.

Lindsley in the tweet also mentions that he expects his Republican and Democratic Senate colleagues to sign onto his letter to the Chinese Ambassador to the U.S. urging the immediate closure of these wet markets in China.
