National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) report confirms that NASA's SDO has observed a new type of magnetic explosion on the sun.According to a report released by the NASA on 17 December 2019, the Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO) had observed a magnetic explosion known as forced magnetic reconnection, which is triggered by an eruption that squeezes the plasma and magnetic fields, causing them to reconnect.

The Forced magnetic reconnection images have been published in the same report taken by NASA’s SDO.
